Soup & Bread Feb. 22

This week, its the annual Soup & Bread visit from our friends at LTH Forum, who have been plotting their menu for weeks now. Come Wednesday they will descend on the Hideout bearing pots of caldo do res (Mexican beef and vegetable soup), Burmese/Thai pork stew, Irish potato leek, chicken soup with mini matzoh balls and kreplach, Moroccan lamb & chickpea soup, Belgian lentil soup (vegan), Middle Eastern carrot soup (vegan), and a soup of Polish sauerkraut with sausage and smoked meats. They’re also amassing an array of breads and desserts to complement it all — in addition to our regular donation of bread from Publican Quality Bread.

Our DJ this week is Bloodshot Records‘s Matt Smith, and our partner food pantry is Ravenswood Community Services. Come out on Wednesday; we will need your help eating this vast bounty of food!
