Soup & Bread 2016: March 2 (and before)

Only one month left in our 2016 soup season! We had two great weeks of soup at the end of February. The 17th saw a slate of great soups from the talented cooks at LTH Forum, and on the 24th we had an amazing jalapeño corn chowder from Dia de los Tamales,  a vegan roasted potato-leek from Pleasant House Bakery (who also brought some incredible multigrain vegan bread from their bakeshop at the Plant), a signature sausage chili from our buddy Hot Doug Sohn (and a tasty veggie curried carrot and apple from his lovely lady Barbara), and a whole lot more! I will post those recipes soon.

Even better, we’ve now raised $4,909 for local food pantries. Lets push it over the $5K mark next week, when we have soups from:

And don’t forget: Our new soup bowls are GOING FAST and supplies are limited. Get yours on site for $10 before they’re gone – or donate $40 to our online fundraiser and we’ll send it to you in the mail. All proceeds benefit Soup & Bread operations.
