Soup & Bread Returns for 2026-27!

We’re back!

Soup & Bread returns to the Hideout for its 19th (!?!?) season of soup and sociability on December 3, and runs on the first Wednesday of the month through April 7.  For the full schedule see our calendar of upcoming events.

For each installment of Soup & Bread we solicit soups from 6-8 cooks, as well as donations of bread and baked goods. If you’d like to get involved as a volunteer cook, please check out our FAQ and reach out to Martha at soupnbread10 [at] gmail [dot] com to get on the schedule.

If you’d like to help out as a volunteer,we are also in need of folks to show up a bit early to help set up, slice bread, and generally lend a hand. Again: get in touch!

Last: I’m also looking for someone to help with some back office work, going through our Soup & Bread archives and helping me collate material for our upcoming 20th anniversary celebration next year.
