You guys. It’s the last Soup & Bread of the year. Winter went by so quickly — and yet, there is still snow on the ground. So confusing!
But snow or no, we are having our traditional end-of-the-season bake sale featuring homemade pies (including some from Hoosier Mama!) and other tasty treats. Also the generous folks at Piece Pizza are donating some Atomic Bomb pizzas (created by Hot Doug)!
This week is also Farmers’ Night. We’ll have five soups made by local farmers Tomato Mountain Farm, Breslin Farms, Earth First Farms, Cedar Valley Sustainable Farm CSA, and Trogg’s Hollow, plus additional soup from “Hot” Doug Sohn, Brian Nemtusak, and Elliot Beier.
Free to come and eat — this week’s pay-what-you-can donations will go to Vital Bridges, the city’s only supplemental food program serving people living with HIV/AIDS. As always, our bread is donated by Publican Quality Meats, and this week’s DJ is soon-to-be-famous Stan Wood. Come out and say so long to winter with us, or at the very least help us shovel.
Hope to see you Wednesday!
