Check out our new booth setup — and our cute new banner! Last weekend’s Renegade Craft Fair was superfun. After a rainy start on Saturday the weather was glorious, and it was great to get outside and start talking soup again. And, hey, we sold a lot of cookbooks to boot.
If you missed us in Wicker Park, you’ll have another chance to come visit this weekend at the Garfield Park Conservatory’s Tenth Annual County Fair (scroll down). And, if you’ve already stocked up on cookbooks (and aprons, and prints), the fair has much else to recommend it, including a giant-pumpkin carver, live music, a recipe swap, and the chance to get your garden tools sharpened. Come check it out! It’s Saturday, Sept. 19, from 11-4 on the conservatory grounds in beautiful Garfield Park (300 N. Central Park). There’s a $5 admission fee, but members and kids under 3 get in for free.
